图里奥公爵（吉安卡罗·吉安尼尼 Giancarlo Giannini 饰）迎娶了美丽的妻子秋丽安娜（劳拉·安托妮莉 Laura Antonelli 饰），虽然家有娇妻，但是天性好色的图里奥公爵还是整日在外面沾花惹草，这让年轻的秋丽安娜感到非常的寂寞。 随着时间的推移，秋丽安娜渐渐无法忍受这样压抑的生活，一次偶然中，她邂逅了一位名叫达博里奥（马克·波雷尔 Marc Porel饰）的男子。达博里奥是一位贫穷的作家，虽然身无分文，但是他的才华深深的吸引了秋丽安娜，两人渐渐走到了一起。最终，这段背德的感情被图里奥公爵所知晓，然而最让他感到愤怒的并非妻子对自己的不忠，而是达博里奥低贱的身份。

弗莱迪（罗伯特·英格兰德 Robert Englund 饰）将榆树街孩子残杀殆尽，只留下约翰一人，约翰在梦中重返榆树街，历经梦中的混乱后被丢弃在陌生的城镇。在“青年之家康复中心”里，一群问题少年斯宾塞、翠西等人正接受教师玛姬（丽萨·赞恩 Lisa Zane 饰）的管理与矫正，失去记忆的约翰也被发现后送到了这里，玛姬发现约翰和自己的梦境相关联，他们有同样的关于榆树街的记忆。为调查真相，玛姬与约翰驾车来到没有一个孩子的春木镇，而翠西等三个少年也偷偷爬上车跟来了这里。翠西等人在榆树街的老宅中遭遇了弗莱迪的梦中追杀，另一边，玛姬与约翰却发现了弗莱迪的真实身份，更惊人的是，玛姬居然是弗莱迪的女儿……

影片聚焦在安娜的童年、青春以及成年时期的不同阶段，三个重要的人生时刻，都充满了欲望，同时也诠释了她的一生。
